This Privacy Policy describes how Nugget ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").
1. Information we collect
Account information. When you sign in, we receive a verified identifier (such as an Apple or Google ID token) and your email address. We do not store passwords.
Learning data. Your progress, streaks, mastery scores, and the concepts you've practiced, so we can deliver spaced repetition and sync across your devices.
Device & usage data. App version, device model, operating system, language, crash logs, and anonymous analytics events used to measure feature usage and improve the product.
Purchase data. If you subscribe, the App Store or Google Play processes your payment. We receive a receipt confirming entitlement, but never your payment card details.
2. How we use information
- To provide and personalize the learning experience.
- To sync progress across your devices.
- To send relevant notifications, including reminders and follow-up prompts you opt into.
- To diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and improve the product.
- To process subscriptions and provide customer support.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers acting on our behalf to operate the Service, including:
- Identity providers (Apple, Google) — for sign-in verification.
- App stores (Apple App Store, Google Play) — for subscription processing.
- Analytics & crash reporting (e.g. Mixpanel) — to understand usage and prevent crashes.
- Cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud) — to host the backend and store learning data.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users.
4. Data retention
We retain your account and learning data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently remove your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law (e.g. tax records).
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. EEA, UK, California), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email swsri@pm.me.
6. Children
Nugget is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, and limited access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States and the European Union. We use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) where required.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice or email. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
