Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Nugget mobile application and website (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Service.

2. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of the identity provider account (Apple or Google) you use to sign in. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Subscriptions & payments

Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the App Store or Google Play and auto-renew at the end of each term unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal. You can manage or cancel subscriptions from your app store account settings.

Refunds, where available, are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code, except where permitted by applicable law.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers.
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.

5. Content & intellectual property

All content in the Service — including text, graphics, software, and the curated learning material — is owned by Nugget or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial use.

Book titles, author names, and quotations are used for educational reference under principles of fair use; rights remain with their respective owners.

6. User feedback

If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use them for any purpose without obligation to you.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, the licenses granted to you end immediately.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Nugget is an educational product; it is not a substitute for professional advice (medical, psychological, financial, or legal).

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nugget will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Nugget operates, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice or email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
